Flexo Foundations

Digital Plates and Screening for Flexo

We have revamped the Digital Plates and Screening for Flexo seminar to give you a behind-the-scenes look at optimizing all of the variables in the plate selection process. We'll be conducting several print trials with all of these variables on multiple substrates, with both UV and water-based inks.

Process Color Management

Clemson has led the flexographic printing industry offering educational opportunities around process color printing and process control in the pressroom. This seminar builds on proven methods and incorporates current trends and processes for CMYK color reproduction. 

Prepress Workflow Automation

Intro to Prepress Workshop

This three and a half day workshop is geared towards graphic designers & graphic artists that are either working as prepress operators or designing for print.

Orientation to the Flexographic Workflow

This class is geared towards individuals in need of a fundamental knowledge of the flexographic printing process. The class is taught mixing hands-on training and formal instruction in a flexo printing environment.

Advanced Techniques in Flexography

This class is geared towards individuals wishing to expand their present knowledge of the flexographic process. Emphasis is placed on optimizing the printing of tone work and four color reproductions.

This course offers practical, hands-on training tailored for individuals seeking the fundamentals of flexo printing and rotary die cutting corrugated board.


Enhanced Graphics for Post-Print Corrugated

This class is geared for individuals in the corrugated industry desiring extensive hands-on training in high-end graphics. Participants will leave the class with a strong understanding of the fundamentals of flexographic print and be able to troubleshoot a variety of print related issues upon return to their respective facility.
